The TARGAS-1 is a compact, one-handed CO₂/H₂O gas analysis system developed for fast and practical leaf photosynthesis and respiration measurements under field conditions. When used together with soil respiration chambers, it is also preferred for measuring soil CO₂ flux.
Its low weight and simple user interface enable fast measurements during extended field campaigns.
