A large-scale sonic drill rig reaching depths of up to 300 metres through simultaneous vibration and rotation.
The LargeRotoSonic houses the LRS 50K head; simultaneous vibration and rotation harness full sonic force to reach greater depths. This rig incorporates advanced technology and is designed to withstand the world's most demanding project conditions. Its True 150 Hz frequency makes it extremely powerful, reaching depths of up to 300 metres (984 ft) with larger-diameter drill pipes and a higher daily rate of high-quality samples.
When the LRS is used, larger-diameter drill pipes can be used, and a higher daily rate of large-diameter, high-quality samples can be taken. These features make the LRS suitable for a variety of specialized projects: from geotechnical drilling to sonic sampling for mining and mineral exploration, the LRS makes a difference.
With safety features such as a fully automatic rod/casing handler and a triple floating clamp, the LRS also offers a safe and ergonomic way of working. Personalized options can also be offered.
