Van Dorn Water Sampler (Set)

The Van Dorn water sampler set with horizontal water bottle is specifically designed for open water sampling. This set comes complete with a drop weight, 30 metres of polyester rope and a carrying case. It can be extended with a CTD-Diver to measure temperature, vertical water depth and, if required, conductivity.

Thanks to its choice of materials, the set is also suitable for sampling coastal waters and heavy metal analysis. Since the horizontal water flow is not obstructed by any constriction, no significant contamination occurs in shallow water. This makes the sampler suitable for measurement even in waters containing solid particles or bound components, even in potentially large amounts. The Van Dorn water sampler holds 2.2 litres. The sample does not come into contact with metal parts.
