A magnetic field measurement module for detecting buried metal objects.
A magnetometer is a scientific instrument used to measure the strength and/or direction of a magnetic field. A mass of ferromagnetic material creates a detectable disturbance in this magnetic field. This magnetic anomaly generates a weak alternating magnetic field, which is detected by the magnetometer in the Geomagnetic module.
It is highly useful for applications such as: unexploded ordnance surveys, determining foundation/sheet pile length, and locating retaining or tieback anchors.
