RiverRay ADCP — Intelligent River Discharge Measurement System
A turnkey Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) that measures discharge from a shallow stream (0.4 m) to a deep river (60 m) with a single instrument, using a flat-surface phased-array transducer and wireless Bluetooth communication.
The RiverRay ADCP is a turnkey river discharge system with automatic adaptive sampling, delivering high-quality data across a wide range of environments — from a shallow stream to a river in flood. Built on Teledyne RD Instruments' 30+ years of acoustic Doppler experience, RiverRay comes complete with the ADCP unit, a custom-designed boat, user-friendly software and wireless (Bluetooth) communication — no other equipment is needed in the field to begin taking precise river discharge measurements.
