Combination Edelman Auger
A combination-type Edelman auger designed for use in both sandy and clayey soils. Available as a one-piece auger or as a bottom part in various diameters and connection types.
The combination-type auger gets a reasonably good hold of sandy material, while clayey material can still be fairly easily removed from the auger body — the best of both worlds. High tensile-strength, forged auger bodies and an optimized shape ensure efficient drilling; non-toxic steel suits all analytical purposes, and rapidly connectible extension rods add depth flexibility.
After use, augers should be air-dried and decontaminated with soap. Rust can develop naturally on these tools — see the product brochure for details.
Available in diameters from 4 to 45 cm with a bayonet or conical screw-thread connection, as a one-piece auger or as a bottom part (including ergonomic-handle versions).
