Gouge Auger Set for Top Layers

The 25 cm working-length arable land auger is used to sample the plough layer; the set's mineral auger samples the top layer to a depth of 60 cm. This 1-kilogram toolkit handles most sampling jobs and is ideal for chemical sampling in the root zone.

Thanks to their working lengths and small diameters, the included gouge augers are especially well suited to sampling the top layers of arable land for nitrate or fertilization research. The slim auger bodies create less friction with the soil.
