Edelman Auger for Sand
An Edelman Sand-type auger for non-cohesive soils. Wide, twisted blades give good ground entry and hold the sample inside the auger.
This Edelman auger type suits moderately cohesive soils, such as sandy soils. The elongated, twisted tip gives easy entry into the ground. The Sand type's blades are wide, giving it good grip on the soil during extraction.
After use, augers should be air-dried and decontaminated with soap. Rust can develop naturally on these tools — see the product brochure for details.
