A CPT rig that brings the next-generation design of the Boxed Crawler 100 kN to a fully ballasted, road-legal system.
The BTC-180 brings Royal Eijkelkamp's next-generation design and features from the iconic Boxed Crawler 100 kN to a fully ballasted, road-legal system. Capable of traveling by road, this system also reaches soft or marshy ground thanks to its detachable tracked units.
With a 180 kN push capacity and 1250 mm stroke, it operates efficiently at standard geotechnical survey depths; its 24 VDC power system is directly compatible with CPT electronic measurement equipment. Since the rig can travel under its own power for intercity field work, no separate transport trailer is needed.
